BESTSELLING AND VETERAN AUTHORS JOIN ABINGDON PRESS FICTION LINEUP

Abingdon Press is excited to announce the authors for the second season of its highly acclaimed line of Christian fiction. The lineup will include best-sellers, award winners, industry leaders, Christian fiction veterans, and highly anticipated debut authors. The titles will continue to be diverse in genre, topics, time periods, and themes.

As industry veteran Barbara Scott, Senior Acquisitions editor, explains, “The Abingdon line expands in the wpring with 10 new titles and a total of 20 new novels for the year. We will be adding new genres and storylines, all to inspire a deeper sense of faith in God’s love and grace.”

Debbie Viguié is the author of Midnight Pearls, Scarlet Moon, and Charmed: Pied Piper, and the young adult Sweet Seasons series. She also is coauthor of the New York Times bestsell­ing Wicked book series.

Robert Elmer is the author of more than 50 books, including 8 con­temporary novels for the adult Christian audience and several series for younger readers. Combined, his books have sold more than half a million copies worldwide.

Sandra D. Bricker is an “Award-Winning Author of Laugh-Out-Loud Inspirational Fiction.” She has written adult novellas, screenplays, eight novels, and is the coauthor of an upcoming devotional book. Her work has been recognized by the Inspirational Reader’s Choice Contest, The Writer’s Touch Awards, and The National Reader’s Choice Awards.

Cynthia Ruchti is president of American Christian Fiction Writers. In 2008, she won second place for Women’s Fiction in the ACFW’s prestigious Genesis Contest. In addition, she is the writer and producer of The Heartbeat of the Home, a radio ministry that is celebrating its 30th anniversary.

Ronie Kendig is a debut author who has found her voice in writing fast-paced suspense. An active member of American Christian Fiction Writers, Ronie is the Book of the Year coordinator.

Jennifer Hudson Taylor, debut author, writes historical and contemporary Christian fiction set in the Carolinas and Europe. In 2007, two of her manuscripts were finalists in the ACFW Genesis Contest.

Gail Sattler is a Heartsong Presents Hall of Fame author who has written 17 novels in addition to novellas, gift books, cookbooks, and contributions to non-fiction titles.

Other debut authors are Christa Allan, Jennifer AlLee, and Richard L. Mabry, MD.
